IT Portfolio Coordinator

Experis Lewisville, TX 75057 We are seeking an organized and proactive IT Portfolio Coordinator to support the CIO and IT leadership team in managing technology initiatives, project reporting, stakeholder communications, and portfolio governance. This role is ideal for an early-career professional interested in technology, project management, business strategy, and executive leadership. Responsibilities Track and maintain the IT project portfolio, including milestones, risks, and dependencies. Prepare executive dashboards, reports, presentations, and portfolio reviews. Translate technical updates into clear, business-focused communications. Coordinate meetings, document action items, and ensure follow-through on commitments. Gather and document business requirements and support project planning activities. Partner with business and technology stakeholders to drive alignment and communication. Identify opportunities to improve reporting, governance, and operational processes. Leverage AI and productivity tools to enhance efficiency and communication. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Management, Information Systems, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in project coordination, business analysis, communications, consulting, or a related role. Strong written, verbal, organizational, and analytical skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to communicate effectively with executives, business leaders, and technical teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Monday.com, Asana, or Microsoft Project. Exposure to dashboards, business reporting, presentations, or change management initiatives. Interest in technology, digital transformation, and organizational strategy.
