Job Description
Boren to Paint Colorado is looking for the right person to help estimate painting projects and work with our crews in the field.

This role is a mix of estimating, customer communication, jobsite documentation, and field coordination. We need someone who can meet with clients, walk projects, take clear notes and photos, help build accurate scopes, and then help make sure the crew understands what needs to be done.

The right person does not need to know everything on day one. We are willing to train someone who is sharp, dependable, organized, and quick to learn.

The owner will personally help get this person up to speed on our estimating process, materials, CompanyCam, customer walkthroughs, scope writing, jobsite communication, and production standards.

This is not just a desk job. This person needs to be comfortable meeting customers, walking job sites, learning paint and material systems, communicating with crews, and helping keep projects organized from estimate to completion.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners, property managers, builders, and business owners to review projects

• Walk job sites and document project conditions clearly

• Take photos, videos, notes, measurements, and client requests using CompanyCam

• Help estimate painting, drywall repairs, carpentry repairs, staining, prep work, coatings, and related scopes

• Learn paint products, primers, stains, caulking, prep standards, and basic production timing

• Help explain project recommendations clearly to customers

• Follow up with leads and help move estimates into booked jobs

• Communicate project details to crews before and during production

• Work with the guys in the field to help keep jobs moving

• Help catch missed details before they become problems

• Keep client notes, job photos, scope details, and updates organized

• Represent Boren to Paint Colorado professionally in the field

• Someone comfortable using an iPhone, MacBook, CompanyCam, email, and basic business software

• Someone who can walk jobs, notice details, and ask good questions

• Someone who can be trusted with customers, company equipment, and company vehicles

• Someone with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Experience That Helps

• Painting experience

• Estimating experience

• Construction, remodeling, drywall, carpentry, or field coordination experience

• Knowledge of paint products, stains, primers, caulking, prep work, decks, siding, trim, or cabinets

• Ability to read plans or construction drawings

• Spanish speaking is a strong plus

• Experience with CompanyCam, QuickBooks, CRM tools, or job management software is a plus
