Job Opportunity – Emergency Department RN (Oncology Pod) – Ohio

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day/Night or Night shifts with floating required. Patient ratio of 1:4. Contract length of 14 weeks available with possible 7 consecutive days off at facility discretion.

• Work in one of the few dedicated oncology emergency care settings in the country, designed specifically for cancer patients requiring urgent care
• Specialized 15-room, 19-bed unit within a fast-paced, high-acuity Emergency Department environment
• EPIC charting system utilized throughout the facility
• Comprehensive orientation with 76 hours provided to ensure success
• Opportunity to work with interpretation services and interdisciplinary support teams
• Request time off must be submitted at application and will be built into contract

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• 1 year of travel nursing experience required (hard stop requirement)
• Valid Compact or Ohio state RN license in hand at time of submission
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Current certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Oncology experience preferred but not required
• Proficient in IV starts and telemetry monitoring
• Skills in blood product administration, central line care, ventilated patient care, dysrhythmia interpretation, vasopressor management, and triage
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• 2 professional references required, including at least 1 manager/director reference
