Work Environment

This full-time position is primarily onsite, operating within our home care framework. You will collaborate with a cohesive team composed of two skilled physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all dedicated to fostering an environment of teamwork and excellence in patient care. The workforce emphasizes continuous collaboration with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive treatment plans. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients' physical conditions, identifying their needs and establishing individualized treatment plans to aid in recovery.
• Implement therapy interventions aimed at improving strength, coordination, flexibility, and overall mobility through evidence-based practices.
• Manage a patient schedule that allows for the treatment of approximately 2-3 patients per hour, maximizing time without compromising care quality.
• Employ various physical modalities and therapeutic techniques to ensure holistic patient rehabilitation while reducing reliance on prescription medication.
• Track patient progress meticulously and adjust treatment plans as required, including documenting all services delivered using EMR Software such as WebPT.
• Work in conjunction with other healthcare providers to refine treatment strategies, sharing insights and collaborating on patient needs.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, inspiring them to achieve their personal recovery goals.
• Organize and lead community educational sessions on injury prevention, wellness, and rehabilitation to promote a healthier, more informed community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients referred to Elite Rehab primarily include individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgery, and sports-related conditions. Our focus on providing home care allows us to connect on a personal level, thoroughly assessing each individual's day-to-day challenges and tailoring our therapy to fit their lifestyle needs.

Qualifications

• Applicant must possess a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active state Physical Therapist License is mandatory.
• Applicants should demonstrate no prior board actions or disciplinary actions against their license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in using digital medical record systems.
• A deep understanding of orthopedic outpatient care is essential.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in physical therapy, particularly in settings emphasizing outpatient orthopedic care.
• Experience in using electronic medical records (EMR) software like WebPT is highly preferred.
• Previous exposure to home-based therapy settings is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
