Accounting Clerk

Accounting ClerkCFS has partnered with a wholesale distribution company in search of an accounting clerk to join their team based out of Boston, MA (Seaport district). The accounting clerk will be responsible for various daily accounting duties, ranging from billing to accounts receivable and accounts payable functions. Accounting clerk responsibilities include participating in daily reconciliations, maintaining files for accounts receivable, billing and accounts payable, reviewing bills for accuracy and proper coding, assisting with the organization of paperwork, and speaking to clients about payments, refunds, and statements. Accounting clerk requirements include 2+ years proven experience working within an accounting or administration department, experience working in a fast-paced environment, ability to work fast and efficiently, proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, strong written and verbal communication skills, and strong organizational skills. Salary range: $50,000 – $52,000 per year.
