CFS is paired with a real estate property management firm in Boston, MA looking to add an Accounting Assistant to their team.

About the Company Seeking an Accounting Assistant:

Founded over thirty years ago, this company helps with all parts of the commercial real estate business from construction, to property management, to property marketing
The growth they are experiencing is in line with current projections for the Boston area; this is a stably growing entity
The role has a mix of accounts receivable and accounts payable activities and can expand as this person grows
Hybrid working environment

Responsibilities of the Accounting Assistant:

Process cash applications for assigned properties
Reconcile payments to tenant portfolios
Maintain deposit tracking
Communicate with property accounting team and tenants
Support accounts payable check runs
Other ad hoc projects as necessary

Qualifications for the Accounting Assistant:

3-5 years' experience in accounts receivable cash applications functions
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or experience equivalent (+4 years)
Experience in property management or real estate is a plus

Salary range:
$55,000 - 62,000
