Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand the mental health status and individual needs of clients.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that align with clients’ therapeutic goals and enhance their overall well-being.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions for adult clients, utilizing evidence-based approaches that foster positive outcomes.
• Provide teletherapy services, ensuring clients have continuous support through virtual sessions.
• Deliver crisis intervention services promptly, addressing urgent mental health situations with skill and empathy.
• Engage in professional development activities to stay updated on best practices in mental health and counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor at Soothe Restore Counseling Center, you will primarily work with adult clients experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal issues. Our diverse client base offers therapists a fulfilling opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals from various backgrounds, tailoring therapeutic strategies to meet unique client needs.

Qualifications

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• Completion of a master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, fostering trust and rapport with clients and team members.
• Exhibit a compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach towards supporting clients on their mental health journeys.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle caseloads and administrative responsibilities with efficiency.
• A clean disciplinary record with the licensing board is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with various therapeutic modalities and techniques applicable to diverse client populations.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote session management.
• Previous involvement in crisis intervention or emergency mental health response.
