Controls Specialist We’re seeking a Controls Specialist to configure, set up, and test building control systems in commercial buildings — helping monitor energy usage and drive sustainability. Top 3 Things to Deliver in the First Year Master Building Controls Systems: Develop proficiency in key areas of building controls, including pneumatic, electronic, energy management systems, lighting control systems, computerized control systems, and communication networks. Develop and Implement Software Solutions: Gain the ability to write and implement software code that aligns with project scopes, specifications, and functional requirements. Ensure System Performance and Quality: Conduct thorough testing of mechanical equipment and control system components, documenting results and promptly resolving any issues to ensure optimal system functionality. Your Background You should have: Fundamental understanding of mechanical systems, mechanical system controls, and building automation systems. A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service combined with a strong desire to learn and further your expertise in building control systems, including configuration, programming, startup, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of control components, networks, and systems. Compensation Controls Specialist: $90,000 – $117,000 annually with company vehicle Senior Controls Specialist: $122,000 – $160,000 annually with company vehicle Benefits Medical, dental, and vision for employees (coverage available for dependents for a shared premium). 401(k) retirement plan including company matching.
