Clinical Lab Technician I (Fixed-Term Contract) - (English/Spanish) Help generate the precise laboratory data that moves clinical research forward. Syneos Health is seeking a bilingual Clinical Lab Technician I for a per diem contract opportunity at our downtown Miami clinical research site. In this hands‑on role, you will process biological samples, perform study‑specific laboratory procedures and help maintain the quality and integrity of clinical trial data. What You’ll Do Perform laboratory tasks according to study protocols, including urine drug screens, dipsticks, pregnancy tests and equipment setup. Conduct specialized procedures within your certified area of expertise. Use accurate pipetting techniques to collect, process and prepare pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic and diagnostic samples. Prepare and dispense buffer solutions for special studies. Package and ship biological samples according to laboratory schedules and temperature requirements. Maintain, calibrate and monitor laboratory equipment. Manage laboratory supplies and inventory to support study activities. Collaborate with internal teams and communicate professionally with study participants. Support additional clinical duties as assigned. What You’ll Bring Certification as a Medical Laboratory Assistant through AMT, Laboratory Technologist or Phlebotomist. Demonstrated pipetting proficiency and confidence handling biological samples. Fluency in reading, writing and speaking English, plus conversational Spanish. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and clinical software. Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and documentation skills. Ability to work actively on your feet in a fast‑paced, detail‑oriented environment. Scheduling flexibility for evenings, nights and occasional day shifts based on study needs. Compensation $40,900-$69,500 annually is the anticipated Syneos Health base salary range provided for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role.
