Prep Cook – Athenian Grill (Lexington, KY)
Location: 313 South Ashland Avenue, Lexington, KY
Pay: $15–$17 per hour
Athenian Grill is a family-owned Greek restaurant that's growing, and we're looking for a dependable Prep Cook to join our kitchen team on South Ashland. If you take pride in clean, consistent prep work and like a fast-paced kitchen, we'd like to meet you.
What you'll do:
- Prep vegetables, proteins, sauces, and dressings to recipe and portion standards
- Keep the line stocked and ready before and during service
- Label, date, and rotate product following food safety guidelines
- Keep prep areas, equipment, and walk-ins clean and organized
- Support the line and team wherever needed during busy periods
What we're looking for:
- Prior prep or kitchen experience preferred, but we'll train the right person
- Basic knife skills and the ability to follow recipes accurately
- Reliable, on time, and able to work as part of a team
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Availability that includes weekends
