Pay Rate: $19.30 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout shopping areas, common spaces, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, assist with directions and general assistance, and report policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or maintenance-related concerns.
• Support loss prevention awareness by observing customer and visitor activity, helping to address unauthorized behavior, and communicating with store personnel and local management as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Security-related experience of 6+ months is required.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
