Senior Fisheries Biologist

Responsibilities Draft ESA effects evaluation and determination documents for HGMPs Prepare NEPA Environmental Assessments and Environmental Impact Statements Evaluate hatchery program impacts on ESA-listed species Respond to internal, co‑manager, and public comments Collaborate with NMFS staff, tribes, and state agencies Present technical findings and participate in meetings Deliverables: ESA documents, NEPA documents and response‑to‑comments packages, technical analyses of hatchery impacts, monthly progress reports and technical presentations Requirements Master’s degree (MA/MS) AND at least five years of experience, OR Bachelor’s degree AND at least ten years of experience Minimum three (3) years of hatchery program experience Experience drafting ESA and NEPA documents Experience evaluating impacts to natural‑origin fish populations Experience working with federal, tribal, and state co‑managers Strong technical writing and communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
