Overview
Applebee’s is hiring Kitchen Managers who take pride in great food, strong execution, and leading winning teams. As Kitchen Manager, you’ll oversee back-of-house operations, support food quality and safety, and help create the welcoming neighborhood experience Applebee’s is known for.
This role is perfect for a hands-on leader who enjoys coaching teams, staying organized, and keeping the kitchen running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
Oversee daily kitchen operations including food preparation, quality, and consistency. Train, coach, and develop BOH team members, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, manage inventory and food costs, maintain kitchen cleanliness and equipment, and partner with restaurant leadership to deliver a great guest experience every shift.
Qualifications
- 1–3+ years of kitchen leadership or restaurant management experience
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
