Communications Coordinator

LLH Healthcare is seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized Communications Coordinator to lead the development of written communications across the organization. This position is responsible for creating engaging content that informs employees, educates members, supports business development, and strengthens the LLH Healthcare brand. The Communications Coordinator will oversee internal communications, member communications, B2B email marketing campaigns, website content, blogs, press releases, and other written marketing materials. This individual will work closely with the Marketing team and company leadership to ensure all communications are clear, consistent, accurate, and aligned with our brand voice. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, storyteller, and editor who enjoys transforming ideas into compelling communications for a variety of audiences. Key Responsibilities: Internal Communications Develop and distribute company-wide communications, leadership announcements, employee newsletters, and organizational updates. Maintain the internal communications calendar and coordinate messaging across departments. Collaborate with department leaders to develop clear, timely, and engaging employee communications. Member Communications Plan, write, and manage member-facing email communications, including welcome series, educational campaigns, benefit reminders, newsletters, and service updates. Develop messaging that helps members understand and maximize their LLH Healthcare benefits. Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements to increase engagement. B2B Marketing Communications Create and execute B2B email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp to support employer, broker, and strategic partner communications. Collaborate with the Sales, Strategic Partnerships, and Marketing teams to develop campaigns that support lead generation, product launches, client engagement, and business development initiatives. Build and maintain email audiences, schedule campaigns, monitor analytics, and optimize performance. Develop compelling subject lines, email copy, and calls-to-action that align with LLH Healthcare's brand and marketing strategy. Content Development Write and edit website copy, landing pages, blog articles, brochures, one-sheets, presentations, and other marketing materials. Develop educational and thought leadership content that supports marketing campaigns and brand awareness. Ensure all written content maintains a consistent brand voice and messaging. Public Relations Draft press releases, partnership announcements, executive messaging, media materials, and community impact stories. Assist with public relations initiatives and support earned media opportunities as needed. Communications Coordination Maintain editorial calendars and content schedules. Coordinate content reviews and approvals with internal stakeholders. Proofread and edit marketing materials for quality, consistency, and accuracy. Support special projects and other communication initiatives as assigned. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, English, or a related field preferred. One to three years of experience in communications, content marketing, copywriting, journalism, or public relations. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Experience creating email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp or similar platforms. Experience writing website copy, blogs, newsletters, or press releases. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with Canva, WordPress, or content management systems is a plus. Healthcare or employee benefits experience is a plus. Preferred Skills: Excellent storytelling and content development abilities. Ability to adapt messaging for internal, member, employer, and public audiences. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Collaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal communication skills. Ability to simplify complex topics into engaging, easy-to-understand content. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
