What You’ll Do

• Respond to ICU patient care needs as a clinical responding provider
• Collaborate with attending physicians and rounding teams
• Provide bedside assessments and respond to patient condition changes
• Monitor adult ICU patients, including bread-and-butter ICU procedures
• Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR software
• Maintain compliance with facility protocols and standards
• Support the team during day or night shifts, including weekends

What You Need

• Valid MA medical license or willing to obtain one (3-5 week licensing process for PAs)
• Certification: ACLS, BLS, DEA
• 2+ years of ICU or critical care experience
• Strong clinical judgment and responding skills in adult ICU settings
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
• Prior experience with Epic EMR is preferred

About the Assignment

Join a teaching hospital's ICU team, providing vital critical care services for adult patients. You will be responding clinician supporting daily rounds, responding to patient needs, and contributing to a multidisciplinary team. This position emphasizes clinical response without procedures or complex interventions, focusing on bedside patient management and team collaboration.
