About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to join their executive team. The CNO will be the senior executive responsible for the strategic direction, clinical quality, and operational oversight of all nursing services. This includes being the primary advocate for nursing practice, establishing and maintaining the highest standards of patient care, and fostering a culture of clinical excellence, compassion, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will have a broad portfolio of responsibilities, from inpatient nursing units to emergency services, and will work in close collaboration with academic partners to advance nursing practice and education. Candidates for the CNO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' executive nursing leadership experience, with at least 5-7 years in a CNO or equivalent role in a complex hospital setting. A BSN is required, with a master's degree in a related field, and a doctorate is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in improving clinical quality and patient experience outcomes, leading diverse clinical teams, and managing complex budgets. The role also involves driving measurable improvements in quality, patient outcomes, and experience, as well as providing executive oversight of nursing operations, financial resources, workforce planning, and regulatory compliance. The CNO will be expected to build and sustain a highly engaged nursing workforce, promote research, innovation, and continuous professional growth, and strengthen nursing education and interprofessional learning.
