Position Overview

Motion Restore Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Camden, New Jersey. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the recovery and rehabilitation of our patients, utilizing your expertise to assess and treat a varied patient population across the spectrum of orthopedic and rehabilitative care.

Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite in a vibrant Rehabilitation Center that prioritizes collaboration and professional growth. With a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 2 PM - 8 PM, you will work closely with fellow therapists, physicians, and support staff to create a holistic healing environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate therapeutic and functional capabilities, collaborating with the patient care team to develop tailored care plans.
• Implement individualized treatment interventions based on the latest evidence-based practices, ensuring alignment with physician directives and patient goals.
• Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary, while maintaining detailed records of evaluations and outcomes.
• Provide skilled physical therapy interventions directly to patients, utilizing advanced techniques such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and assistive devices.
• Educate patients and families regarding therapeutic exercises, home care techniques, and the use of assistive devices to promote ongoing recovery outside therapy sessions.
• Supervise and guide support staff, ensuring proper attention to the daily caseload and facilitating effective patient transitions through the continuum of care.

In this role, you will serve a diverse patient population, including both adults and children, with a primary focus on those recovering from orthopedic procedures such as surgeries and injuries. Your contributions will significantly impact their quality of life, functioning, and long-term physical health.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required, with an emphasis on rehabilitation practices.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is to be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
• No prior experience is necessary; we welcome new graduates who are eager to learn and contribute.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation or similar clinical settings is a plus, but not mandatory.
• A familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and rehabilitation software will be beneficial.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with a multidisciplinary team and engage with patients positively.

Compensation and Benefits
