Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

We are seeking dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to our residents, ensuring their daily needs are met in a compassionate and respectful manner.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Monitor residents' health and report any changes to the nursing staff.
• Support residents in mobility, including transferring and ambulating as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Document care provided and resident progress accurately in the charting system.
• Collaborate with team members to provide high-quality care.

Shift Information

Available shifts include:

• 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM
• Consistent 8-hour shifts with some 12-hour shifts available, if desired.

Work Environment

This position is in a skilled nursing facility with a focus on rehabilitation, short stay, long-term care, and dementia care. The facility has 43 beds across two units, with an average census ratio of:

• CNA: 1:10
• LPN: 1:19
• RN: 1:19
• Charge RN: 1:19

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with a valid certification.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Location

This position is located in a small town with a population of approximately 1,100. Nearby attractions include beautiful northwoods landscapes, rafting, hiking trails, and stunning waterfalls. Please note that public transportation is not available in the area.
