Billing analyst

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Traditional Medicare Bill Collector to support our hospital revenue cycle. In this role, you will independently manage Medicare accounts, resolve outstanding balances, and navigate complex claims to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement. We need a detail-oriented professional who can drive account resolution from billing through collections. Required Qualifications Proven, hands-on experience with Traditional Medicare billing and collections. Direct hospital revenue cycle experience (Note: Physician-only billing backgrounds will not be considered). understanding of Medicare rules, regulations, and reimbursement processes. Ability to independently analyze and resolve complex claim issues. Familiarity with healthcare billing systems (Epic preferred). Preferred Qualifications Experience in a high-volume Accounts Receivable (AR) environment. Background in denials management and appeals. Knowledge of Medicare compliance and regulatory requirements
