Job Overview The Manufacturing Technician supports daily production and fabrication operations by measuring, cutting, fitting, and assembling PVC and CPVC components according to specifications. This position uses a variety of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment while following drawings and work instructions to produce quality products safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a hands‑on manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Measure, cut, fit, glue, and assemble PVC and CPVC components according to specifications, shop drawings, blueprints, and work orders. Operate saws, drills, routers, hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication equipment used in production. Assemble components manually and with semi‑automatic or automatic production equipment, as required. Perform basic equipment setups and routine maintenance on fabrication tools and equipment. Inspect completed products and perform required quality checks to ensure workmanship and specifications meet company standards. Support material handling activities, including loading/unloading shipments, inventory, picking, packing, and material movement as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following established safety procedures and production standards. Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and adapt to changing production needs. Requirements 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, or similar hands‑on production environment. Ability to read and interpret basic shop drawings, blueprints, work orders, and production specifications. Ability to accurately use a tape measure and basic measuring tools. Basic knowledge and hands‑on experience using hand tools, power tools, and production or fabrication equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to follow instructions and complete hands‑on assembly/fabrication tasks. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safe work practices. Previous experience performing product inspections, documenting quality checks, or completing quality forms. Forklift experience or certification is a plus. Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements This position is fully site‑based in Sedalia, Missouri. The regular schedule is 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. Overtime may be required based on production needs, including earlier start times and occasional Saturdays.
