Electronics Engineering Associate Manager, FBM

Description Join the Lockheed Martin team in support of the US Navy's Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) D5 Life Extension (D5LE) Avionics/Test Missile Kit (TMK) Engineering. Location Position located near the Lockheed Martin Space facility in Titusville FL. Requires onsite full‑time with a flexible 9x80 schedule. Key Activities Communicate technical status and issues internally to program leadership, technical leadership and functional leadership as well as externally to the customer. Conduct personnel management for a portion of the FBM Electronics team. Coordinate subordinate employee recruitment, selection, and training. Perform performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Manage the research, design, development, and testing of various electronic equipment and systems. Investigate failures and manage material disposition on electronic hardware (CCA, Unit, and System Level). Participate in technical reviews and audits. Eligibility 8+ years of professional experience for this role. Willing and able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance ; US citizenship required. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Demonstrated experience in managing or designing electronics hardware. Demonstrated experience with the production and test of electronics hardware. Experience or willingness to lead teams through challenging engineering and/or programmatic issues. Desired Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent teaming, communication, and leadership skills. Master of Science or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. Ability to balance cost, schedule and risk in decision making. Experience guiding the successful completion of significant projects and/or multi‑discipline team efforts by applying technical knowledge and leadership skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with peers, superiors, subordinates, and customers. Experience in missile design, development, and testing. Demonstrated experience in program execution in development programs. Demonstrated experience managing subcontractor flight hardware development. Demonstrated experience working directly with government customers on requirement definition, planning, avionics integration/operations and performance briefings. Demonstrated experience managing engineering personnel development and performance assessment. Security Clearance This position requires a Top Secret clearance. US citizenship is required for consideration. Salary Annual base salary range for this position varies by location and is $104,500 – $184,115. Salary is determined after considering scope and responsibilities, candidate’s experience, education, key skills, market, and business considerations.
