Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments through virtual meetings, thoughtfully considering each client’s personal history, current concerns, and potential risk factors.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans in cooperation with clients to address their unique mental health issues and facilitate their successful re-entry into the community.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care approaches, to support clients in managing their mental health.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on enhancing personal growth, emotional regulation, and effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals to ensure a comprehensive and holistic treatment strategy that prioritizes client outcomes.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, using de-escalation techniques as necessary and making referrals for higher levels of care when required.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and community resources, empowering them to take active roles in their treatment.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progression notes, in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in a range of team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing training initiatives to foster a collaborative and informed professional environment.

• Stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health care regulations and ethical guidelines, particularly those relevant to remote health services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The individual in this role will provide mental health care predominantly to adults from various backgrounds, often facing significant psychological challenges, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and trauma-related issues. Your ability to foster trust and establish rapport with clients will be essential in creating a safe and effective therapeutic space.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LICSW licensure in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health, with a strong preference for backgrounds in correctional settings or other challenging environments.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based practices.
\n
• Strong skills in conducting assessments and formulating effective treatment plans.

• Proven experience in delivering psychotherapeutic services to individuals and groups.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for establishing rapport with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
