Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager/Assistant Controller - Savannah (Onsite)
Financial Reporting:
- Generate accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights into key performance indicators and trends.
Cost Control:
- Implement and maintain effective cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency.
- Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising service quality.
Financial Planning and Strategy:
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop long-term financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Assess the financial feasibility of expansion projects, renovations, or other capital investments.
Cash Management:
- Oversee cash flow management, including monitoring receivables, payables, and working capital.
- Optimize cash position and recommend investment strategies.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Conduct regular training sessions to keep staff updated on industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (CPA, CMA) is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
Base salary up to 90k plus 3 weeks vacation and excellent benefits.
