Accounting Manager\n\nTimpl has partnered with a global interior material manufacturing company and is\nseeking an Accounting Manager.\n\n\nRole Responsibilities:\n * Manages the accounting staff who are responsible for financial reporting,\n billing, collections, payroll, and budget preparation.\n * Coordinates training programs for new staff and identifies training needs for\n current staff.\n * Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of assigned employees.\n * Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.\n * Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and\n budget preparation.\n * Oversees preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and\n annual budgets.\n * Works with business leaders to manage and support each department during the\n budget process.\n * Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that the\n reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or\n financial reporting standards.\n * Responsible for preparing reports necessary for tax planning throughout the\n fiscal year;\n * Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.\n * Presents recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial\n objectives and policies.\n * Provides financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing\n decisions, and contract negotiations.\n * Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements; assisting with\n regulatory reporting as applicable\n * Performs additional duties as required or assigned.
