Compensation

Salary Range: $116,339.49 – $168,692.26 Annually
Midpoint Salary: $142,515.88

Position Summary

Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation is seeking qualified Pharmacist I/II – Advanced Practice Pharmacist I/II professionals to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care services in a collaborative healthcare environment. The pharmacist will be responsible for medication management, patient counseling, clinical consultations, and ensuring safe and effective medication use across diverse patient populations.

This position offers an opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary healthcare team while delivering high-quality pharmacy services that support positive patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Review, verify, and dispense prescription medications accurately and safely.
Provide patient counseling regarding medication use, side effects, and treatment adherence.
Monitor patient drug therapies and recommend appropriate interventions.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Evaluate medication regimens for safety, effectiveness, and compliance.
Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational pharmacy regulations.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and medication safety programs.
Support formulary management and medication utilization reviews.
Provide clinical pharmacy services as appropriate to scope of practice.

Required Qualifications

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent pharmacy degree.
Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license.
Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication management, and patient counseling.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced Practice Pharmacist experience.
Clinical pharmacy experience in hospital, ambulatory care, or healthcare systems.
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and pharmacy information systems.
Prior experience working with underserved or rural populations.
