Assistant Project Engagement Specialist - Land Services (Newton)

Description The Assistant Project Engagement Specialist supports field-based outreach and communications during projects. The Assistant Project Engagement Specialist role focuses on door-to-door engagement, delivery of construction notifications, documentation of stakeholder input, and maintaining an on-site presence under supervision. Assist with conducting door-to-door engagement with residents, businesses, and property owners to share construction information. Update and distribute project notifications and informational materials as directed. Provide a visible on-site presence during active construction to answer basic questions and direct concerns. Accurately document stakeholder interactions, comments, and issues using established tracking tools. Assist with field reports, contact logs, and photo documentation. Maintain compliance with company and project specific safety policies, protocols, and training requirements. Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all policies and standards Qualifications High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and 4 years related experience. Or, Associate Degree in a related field and 2 years related experience. Or, Bachelor Degree in Communications, Public Affairs, or related field. Experience in outreach, community engagement, or field-based roles. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in the use of computer software (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work outdoors and walk for extended periods. Ability to travel to project sites, as required. Minimum of 3.0 GPA strongly preferred. Involvement on campus or in the community preferred. Candidate must be legally authorized to work permanently (i.e. without time limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship) in the country where this position is located. Valid driver’s license required. Compensation $28.00-35.00 Hourly The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The final agreed upon compensation is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of an hourly pay rate and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
