Mergers & Acquisitions - Business Development Specialist

As an M&A and Business Development Specialist at Bluespring Wealth Partners, you will coordinate and manage the execution of acquisitions in the wealth management space, ensuring a seamless diligence-to-close process. What You’ll Do Manage financial and operational diligence to obtain and summarize key information about prospective acquisitions. Prepare financial models outlining historical and projected financial performance, including returns and supplemental support. Craft proposals for review by the Deal Committee and actively participate in discussions to provide perspective on opportunities. Collaborate with stakeholders across Bluespring and Kestra to ensure completion of agreed-upon diligence procedures. Draft term sheets and indications of interest for new opportunities. Oversee final diligence processes, working with seller representatives and key management to perform thorough due diligence while presenting Bluespring as an attractive partner. Provide a full assessment of opportunities with recommendations to the Deal Committee, reporting on key assumptions and concerns. Participate in transaction document drafting, negotiations, and other key interactions throughout the process. Capture knowledge from the M&A process for documentation and communication to Onboarding and Business Consulting teams. Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives to inform decision-making. Manage the M&A pipeline, ensuring accurate and timely reporting on opportunities. Track deal-related information on completed acquisitions and communicate with stakeholders. Monitor competitors and report insights to management with recommendations. What You Bring 2-3 years of investment banking, consulting, or related analytical and financial experience. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong research, modeling, and technical skills. Self-starter resourcefulness, capable of working autonomously and as part of a cross-functional team with a strong work ethic. Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
