Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, allowing you to work directly with patients in a well-equipped and innovative sports medicine facility. Our team currently includes two Physical Therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), fostering a collaborative atmosphere where knowledge and techniques are shared to enhance patient outcomes. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a healthy work-life balance while serving our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patient needs and medical histories to formulate effective treatment plans.
• Manage a steady caseload, providing quality care to one patient per hour while maintaining high standards of practice.
• Utilize a variety of techniques, including manual therapy and exercise regimens, to enhance patient mobility and reduce pain.
• Minimize reliance on medications and propose alternative solutions to surgical interventions through innovative treatment modalities.
• Track and document patient progress meticulously to adapt treatment plans and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care and augment the recovery process.
• Empower patients by encouraging them throughout their rehabilitation process, fostering independence and confidence.
• Design personalized wellness and fitness programs tailored to each patient's unique recovery goals and lifestyle.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay up-to-date with emerging trends in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients who have private medical insurance, focusing on those requiring orthopedic rehabilitation. Our diverse patient population includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions affecting mobility. Your expertise will help not only restore physical function but also promote a healthier lifestyle through improved strength, flexibility, and postural awareness.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is essential.
• Possession of a valid Physical Therapist license and a clean record with no disciplinary issues.
• Strong foundational knowledge of manual therapy techniques and how to implement them effectively during treatment.
• Ability to develop and lead customized exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, to streamline patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience using varied therapeutic modalities to achieve patient rehabilitation goals.
• Proven track record of working collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Experience in health promotion and community outreach related to physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
