Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand each client’s unique mental health status and needs, ensuring tailored and effective treatment strategies.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are aligned with clients’ therapeutic goals and objectives, leveraging evidence-based practices and solution-focused methodologies.
• Facilitate regular individual therapy sessions with adult clients, utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities to empower clients to make meaningful changes in their lives.
• Provide teletherapy options, maintaining high standards of care and accessibility for clients who may prefer virtual sessions.
• Address acute mental health crises by offering immediate support and intervention, demonstrating compassion while adhering to best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients encompass a wide range of backgrounds and mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be at the forefront of providing high-quality care to adults seeking to improve their mental well-being, aiming to empower them through understanding and evidence-based interventions.

Qualifications

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build strong, therapeutic relationships with clients and collaborate effectively within a team setting.
• Exhibit a compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach when engaging with clients on their mental health journeys.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, enabling efficient management of caseloads and associated administrative tasks.
• A clean disciplinary record with the licensing board, demonstrating a commitment to ethical professional practices.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a community health setting or similar mental health practice is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote counseling technologies to enhance client engagement and care delivery.
• Demonstrated success in creating and implementing treatment plans that yield positive client outcomes.
