- Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers by understanding their business needs
- Plan and develop promotional initiatives to drive sales growth
- Create pricing strategies and new product development plans
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Prepare and deliver effective product presentations to customers
- Negotiate order details, including volume, pricing, and delivery timelines
- Research and analyze potential clients and market data
- Coordinate client meetings and include sales and technical service representatives from supplier partners
- Organize and represent the company at trade shows and industry events
- Stay current with industry trends by attending events, reading publications, and maintaining a professional network
- Report regularly to management on sales activity, goals, and outcomes
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field (preferred).
- A minimum of four years of chemical sales experience within the cosmetics industry is required.
- Team leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
