Controller

Controller needed for manufacturing company located near Orange, Ca. Will pay 150-175k plus bonus. DOE. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Analyze Material, Labor, Manufacturing Overhead and Outside Processing Variances in a standard costing system, including root cause analysis. Responsible for the manufacturing BOM changes, standard rates, cost rollups, GL accounts and product costing for all new and existing products. Monitor inventory accuracy for adherence to inventory controls. Lead annual physical inventories. Analyze gross margin results, correct anomalies, identify trends, and communicate findings. Evaluate Purchase Price Variances in conjunction with the purchasing department and identify root cause and financial impact. Assist with month end balance sheet reconciliations. Manage analysis of utilization, efficiency and productivity metrics. Lead the execution of the recurring financial month-end close process including preparation of month-end journal entries and reconciliations. Enhance accounting systems and processes, particularly those related to billing, while creating and maintaining internal controls. Lead the Financial Planning process including annual budget and quarterly reforecast. Manage all facets of local audits Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Min of year 7-10 years of experience Strong cost and inventory accounting required. Manufacturing industry experience required.
