The role involves assessing patients upon admission and throughout their stay, administering IV medications, therapy, and blood as required, providing patient education, and documenting nursing care actions, observations, and patient responses. Responsibilities Assess and monitor patients in the emergency department. Administer IV medications and therapies as needed. Provide education to patients and their families. Document nursing care actions and patient responses accurately. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency department nursing. At least 1 year of previous critical care nursing experience required. Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required. Must be willing and able to work in charge nurse and preceptor roles as needed. Must not be a previous employee of the organization. Travelers with hits/actions on license/background will not be accepted. Shift Information This position is night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Holiday coverage is required.
