The ideal candidate will have over seven years of experience in commercial and complex litigation, with a focus on healthcare and employment matters. Duties Handle litigation proceedings from inception through resolution, focusing on healthcare and employment matters. Draft and argue motions, pleadings, discovery requests, and briefs. Conduct and defend depositions. Represent clients in court, arbitration, and administrative hearings. Develop and execute litigation and defense strategies. Manage multiple cases independently with attention to detail and deadlines. Support related practice groups as needed. Contribute to process improvements within the department. Requirements Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. Admission to the New Jersey Bar required; New York admission is a plus or willingness to obtain. 7+ years of legal experience, including taking and defending depositions and first or second-chair trial experience. Excellent communication, writing, negotiation, and analytical skills. Demonstrated integrity, sound judgment, and professionalism. Team-oriented with strong leadership, mentoring, and relationship-building abilities. Adaptable, intellectually curious, and capable of handling complex legal and business issues. Education Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the New Jersey Bar; New York admission is a plus. Skills Strong communication and writing skills.
