Assistant Project Manager

My client is one of the most respected and well-run multifamily GCs in Indiana. With award-winning projects, industry-leading training and development, and competitive compensation, they offer unmatched long-term growth for construction professionals. They are looking for an eager Assistant Project Manager to join their team.

Job Description

Assist Project Manager in all phases of construction
Write RFI's, submit for approval and distribute accordingly
Review and understand the subcontract documents as they apply to assigned areas of responsibility
Notify management of significant project events such as project successes, issues, injuries, client relations, potential losses/claims
Work with owner/client to provide updates, obtain approvals, and complete change orders for scope of work revisions
Assists with documenting changes; Maintain project records, red line transfers, and correspondence.
Assist with preconstruction tasks, including estimating and quantification
Collect and log closeout documents and punch lists

The Successful Applicant

3+ years of experience working in general contracting (open to PE or APM level)
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
Experience managing administrative construction duties, including document control
Proficient in Bluebeam or Procore
Need to have a basic understanding of construction knowledge
Coachable, eager to learn talent
