About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Tax to take on a pivotal role in leading the entire tax function across its various entities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full spectrum of U.S. and international tax compliance, reporting, and structuring, with a focus on complex credit strategies and special purpose vehicles. This executive position demands a professional with a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 7-10 years of progressive tax experience, and a CPA is strongly preferred. The role involves direct oversight of all tax processes, including federal, state, local, and non-U.S. filings, as well as managing the preparation and review of various tax documents. The VP of Tax will also be expected to provide strategic advice on tax structuring, planning, and fund launches, and to ensure compliance with specialized filings and entity formation documentation. Applicants for the Vice President of Tax position at the company should have a deep understanding of private credit and loan products, closed-end fund structures with carry, and management company/GP tax matters. Advanced proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite is required, and the role demands a candidate who can drive process improvements, and technology adoption, and manage competing priorities with a high level of professionalism and clear communication. The VP of Tax will be expected to collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to streamline information flow and support transaction execution, as well as to stay current on developments that impact complex funds and global structures.
