About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Income Tax to take on a strategic role with a focus on all aspects of the income tax function. This includes domestic and foreign income tax planning and research, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations across various jurisdictions, and overseeing transfer pricing and the application of ASC 740. The successful candidate will be a key player in tax planning for potential mergers and acquisitions, and will be expected to enhance financial processes, implement best practices, and optimize the use of the company's income tax co-source partner. Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills are essential for this position, as is the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and third-party consultants. Applicants for the Vice President, Income Tax role at the company should have a BS in Accounting, a master's degree in tax is preferred, and a CPA is required. A minimum of 18 years of relevant tax experience, including a background in retail and/or consumer products, is necessary. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing income tax functions, be a subject matter expert in income tax accounting principles, and have experience in both domestic and international taxation. The role demands a professional with excellent analytical, decision-making, and communication skills, who is also a strong leader with the ability to mentor and develop staff. The candidate should be a self-starter, a team player, and have a strong work ethic with a high degree of integrity.
