Marketing Coordinator

OBRA Architects is a New York and Seoul-based design firm committed to the observance of a practice grounded in the pursuit of architecture both professionally and culturally. The projects developed by the firm are always developed in the consideration of issues that include, but are not limited to, the usual pragmatic observances that can be expected of any serious architectural firm: the client's needs, budget, code requirements, the environment, etc. We believe that, for the sake of an architecture that might be authentic, help society and possibly become an agent of the good in the world, such considerations are inseparable from a deliberate pursuit of knowledge. Such knowledge includes not only whatever aspects of reality are specifically attendant to the project in question, but also to society in general, its culture and the meaning of architecture itself. Every project then seeks, in its eventual realization as a building, to embody a unique, sincere and novel synthesis of those considerations. OBRA Architects is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support proposal production, outgoing marketing initiatives, marketing collateral, and firm-wide brand consistency. This role is central to keeping pursuits organized and on schedule, and to building a template and file system the whole team can rely on. Graphic design and excellent communication skills are required. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with the firm's partners, Business Development Manager, and senior staff to support marketing, communications, and business development efforts. The successful candidate will be capable of working proactively on a variety of overlapping tasks in a deadline-driven environment and must be capable of working both independently and within diverse team settings. Key Responsibilities Produce RFP/RFQ responses, SOQs, and project sheets in InDesign, maintaining firm templates and brand standards Manage proposal production calendars and deadlines across multiple concurrent pursuits Format and proof all outgoing marketing materials, including resumes, project descriptions, and boilerplate content Maintain and update the project and staff resume database Coordinate with subconsultants to collect required forms, resumes, and past performance documentation for teaming submissions Support production of firm collateral: capability statements, award submissions, and website/social content assets Assist with photography coordination and image library organization for proposal and marketing use Proofread and quality-control all deliverables prior to senior staff review and submission Track submission requirements, including page limits, format specs, and portal upload procedures, for public and private sector RFPs Qualifications 3-5 years of relevant experience; AEC industry experience required Proficiency in Adobe InDesign required; working knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop preferred Graphic design skills and a strong eye for layout and typography preferred Familiarity with CRM platforms, such as HubSpot, Content Management Systems, and email marketing/social publishing tools Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and comfort working within brand/template systems rather than building from scratch each time Able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced pursuit environment Bachelor's degree in architecture preferred; degrees in graphic design, marketing, or communications are also acceptable, with AEC industry experience as a minimum requirement Compensation & Hours Compensation is commensurate with experience This is an in-office position based at OBRA's New York studio #J-18808-Ljbffr
