Property Accountant

Responsibilities

Kforce's client, a fast-growing Real Estate company located in Boston, is in search of a Property Accountant. This position is an add-to-staff, as the company has acquired a sizable portfolio to Manager for a Pension Fund.Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of General Ledger and Reporting (Monthly, Quarterly, Annual)
• Calculation of Annual CAM and TAX true ups
• Work closely with property management team in order to resolve property related issues and ensure quality reporting
• Review Budgets and provide feedback to Property Managers
• Bank reconciliations
• Oversee Cash receipts/receivables for portfolio-Lease review, interpretation and compliance
• Debt review and compliance reporting
• Partnership agreement review and compliance reporting
• Maintaining and processing quarterly distributions to partners

Skills

• B.A./B.S. degree in Accounting/Finance; 3+ years related R/E accounting
• Knowledge of or ability to learn property management accounting processes, including use of any industry specific software
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of all aspects of accounting
• Proficient in Real Estate software (MRI, Yardi) and Excel

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
