Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Utilize trauma-informed assessment tools to evaluate patients' trauma histories, emotional states, and psychological needs.

• Deliver Evidence-Based Therapies: Provide therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), through virtual platforms.

• Facilitate Therapy Sessions: Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions, aiming to foster a safe space for patients to share their experiences and develop vital coping skills.

• Collaborate with Healthcare Providers: Work alongside psychiatrists, case managers, and other mental health professionals to ensure a cohesive treatment approach for every patient.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing various mental health challenges due to trauma. This includes those suffering from PTSD, childhood trauma, and complex dissociative symptoms. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in New Jersey as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

• A fundamental understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed care principles.

• Strong interpersonal skills, exemplifying empathy and non-judgment in client interactions.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient encounters efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in providing mental health therapy, particularly relating to trauma.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
