Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews and create detailed documentation from the initial consultation through the concluding sessions.

• Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health through a variety of assessment techniques.

• Develop individualized intervention and recovery plans tailored for individuals, couples, families, and groups based on evaluated needs.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that promote healing and personal insight.

• Monitor and document client progress against treatment goals, adapting plans as necessary to maintain effectiveness.

• Collaborate actively with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.

• Conduct follow-up consultations for clients who have been admitted to hospitals, ensuring continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a vital part of our team, you will assist a diverse client population facing various mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction disorders. Your approach to these clients must be empathetic and responsive, recognizing the unique circumstances and backgrounds of each individual. The telehealth model allows you to connect with clients across New Jersey, extending our reach to those who may face geographical or logistical barriers to traditional in-person therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor, showcasing a strong therapeutic skill set.

• Proficient in electronic health record systems, with specific experience in AVATAR preferred.

• Background understanding physical and emotional health conditions alongside addiction issues.
