Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions via secure telehealth platforms, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for clients.

• Prepare and maintain meticulous documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and client interactions using EHR systems.

• Collaborate regularly with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals including psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff to enhance care delivery.

• Engage in continual professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to stay updated with the latest therapeutic techniques and regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve encompass a wide range of backgrounds and presenting issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Understanding the diverse cultural, social, and economic factors that impact mental health, you will utilize evidence-based practices that effectively resonate with your clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.

• Current licensure in New Jersey as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic practices.

• Exceptional communication and organizational skills with a focus on building rapport with clients.

• Comfortable using EHR systems and managing patient data effectively.

• Ability to thrive in both independent and collaborative settings while managing varying caseloads.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working with diverse populations, particularly in community settings, is highly preferred. Familiarity with specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The licensed mental health counselor role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
