Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

The individual in this role is responsible for unloading cases from conveyors and stacking them onto pallets in accordance with carton specifications. While the following duties are considered essential, the position is dynamic, and the employee may be assigned additional tasks by management.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve packed cases from conveyors and stack them onto pallets according to customer specifications throughout the work shift.
• Wrap the top of loaded pallets to prevent higher boxes from falling during transport.
• Pull loaded skids to an area where they are retrieved by a forklift, approximately 70 feet away.
• Construct cardboard tops to cover boxes that lack folding flaps.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), carrying (up to 50 lbs.), pushing, pulling, twisting (re-piling loads), kneeling, bending, reaching, talking, hearing, and visual acuity (near and far)
• Experience lifting packed cases (up to 50 lbs.) from rollers and stacking them onto pallets as high as 7 feet
• Ability to lift empty pallets (approximately 50 lbs.) and slide them to the end of the conveyor approximately once every hour
• Preferred experience in non-temperature controlled warehouse/production environments

Work Environment

This role is based in a very large, 100,000 square foot production facility that is bright and can be cold during the winter and hot during the summer. Work hours are from 6 AM to 6 PM or 6 PM to 6 AM. The dress code includes steel-toed boots, no jewelry, no fake nails, jeans, and a clean work shirt.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.

The pay range for this position is $19.59 - $21.09/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Omaha,NE.
