Children's Ministry Coordinator

Description Waukeenah Methodist Church, a Global Methodist Church, is seeking a coordinator for its ministries to children under 12 years of age. The position requires 10-15 hours per week and pays $20 per hour. The coordinator will manage volunteers and conduct children’s Sunday school, children’s church, and Wednesday evening programming. The role also plans and coordinates Vacation Bible School, the children’s Christmas program, and other special events. Qualifications A vibrant personal faith in Jesus Christ. Passion for working with children and sharing the Christian faith. Ability to organize programs and coordinate volunteers. Strong communication and relational skills. Prior experience in children’s ministry, education, or childcare is preferred but not required. Agreement with the beliefs and mission of the Global Methodist Church. Must be able to pass a background check. Reliable transportation.
