Oncology Market Access Senior Manager

AstraZeneca seeks an Oncology Market Access Senior Manager in Gaithersburg, MD to develop and execute U.S. market access strategies for oncology products. The role involves cross-functional collaboration to secure reimbursement, inform strategy with market insights, and support sales teams in commercializing an innovative pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement product value propositions across key market segments in collaboration with leadership
- Create and drive launch access strategies to secure reimbursement and affordability
- Lead development of field resources, programs, and tactics to implement market access strategies
- Support account management teams with customer strategy, planning, execution, training, and promotional resources
- Manage agency relationships and budgets to ensure compliant, timely delivery of promotional programs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years progressive pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical experience in market access, payer marketing, brand marketing, or sales
- Strong understanding of U.S. market access landscape and pharmaceutical regulatory environment
- Strategic thinking ability with tactical execution skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and consensus-building capabilities
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%
- Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PharmD, PhD) preferred; oncology or managed care experience preferred
Compensation: $145,205.60 - $217,808.40 USD base
