Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately identify clients' mental health challenges and construct tailored treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions utilizing diverse therapeutic techniques to facilitate personal growth and healing.
• Collaboratively set therapeutic goals with clients, regularly tracking progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
• Offer teletherapy services for clients who prefer virtual sessions, ensuring accessibility for those with mobility challenges.
• Maintain thorough and ethical documentation of all client interactions and treatment outcomes to meet regulatory requirements and clinical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and stay informed about the latest trends and methodologies in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMFT at Cognitive Care Center, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families facing a wide range of issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Qualifications

• Active and valid state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.
• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Ability to demonstrate empathy, understanding, and a nonjudgmental attitude toward clients' experiences.

• Experience working within an outpatient setting or private practice environment.
• Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, or EMDR.
• Previous experience providing care remotely, using technology to facilitate teletherapy sessions effectively.
• A background in working with clients experiencing substance use disorders or addictions is highly desirable.
