Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client and their family dynamics.

• Utilize various therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family systems therapy to address issues such as depression, anxiety, addiction, and chronic pain.

• Engage in crisis intervention strategies to support clients experiencing acute distress and provide timely support to help them regain stability.
\n
• Facilitate parent support groups, offering guidance on parenting strategies, child development, and addressing issues of adoption and placement, particularly for families impacted by prenatal substance exposure.

• Provide training and mentorship to community professionals and parents regarding mental health challenges and effective intervention strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for families and children.
\n
• Maintain accurate and detailed client records, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our services cater primarily to children (ages 0-21) and their families, particularly those in high-risk environments. You will engage with clients presenting with a diverse array of mental health concerns, including emotional and behavioral challenges. Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.

• Current and active California license in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT).

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and caseload.
