About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead its multi-site operations, with a focus on construction, service, and maintenance across five locations. The COO will be responsible for the company's financial performance, management systems, and growth in both government and commercial sectors. This role requires a leader with a strong background in operating a multi-site business, direct P&L responsibility, and a proven track record in developing and managing technical or field-based employees. The successful candidate will also be involved in strategic expansion, including the evaluation and execution of new services, locations, and potential acquisitions. Candidates for the COO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role. A background in electrical, utility, or comparable specialty contracting is preferred, as is experience with various government and institutional contracting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial and commercial acumen, executive presence, and the ability to represent the company with a wide range of stakeholders. The role demands a leader who is willing to work primarily on-site, with regular travel among the company's locations, and who is adept at using technology to enhance operational visibility, consistency, and accountability.
