Director, Information Governance

Join a dynamic team as the Director of Information Governance, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the global electronic records management strategies. We're seeking a visionary leader to oversee our client's Information Governance initiatives, ensuring they align seamlessly with industry best practices and meet the evolving needs of our law firm client.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the assessment and enhancement of Firm Approved Records Repositories.
Develop and enforce Risk Management policies that safeguard information assets.
Spearhead complex projects related to file management, data privacy, and compliance.
Drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies for efficient Information Governance practices.
Collaborate closely with IT and business units to automate and optimize our information management processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required; advanced certifications such as IGP, CIPP, or CIP highly valued. JD a plus.
Proven track record (10+ years) in information governance or related fields within legal, professional services, or corporate environments.
Strong leadership experience (5+ years) managing teams and operations.
Deep knowledge of information management laws, regulations, and industry standards.
