As an Occupational Therapist serving the western region, you’ll support students across elementary, middle, and high school levels within an established workload model that values work-life balance and collaboration.

This full-time, on-site position follows a year-round schedule, typically spanning 37.5 to 40 hours per week. Anticipate a start date 30 days from offer, with immediate interviews taking place—perfect for those ready to further their OT career in a supportive community.

What we’re looking for:

• Valid OT license issued by the North Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy (NCBOT)
• Post-graduate OT degree, with a preference for a Master’s
• Demonstrated school-based OT experience (NC public school experience strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with ECATS and crafting/documenting IEPs
• Proficiency in conducting OT evaluations, especially motor screenings, and applying assessment results to educational contexts
• Experience with standardized assessments commonly used in school-based OT, including Sensory Processing Measure–2 (SPM-2) and Sensory Profile 2
• Ability to interpret and report findings clearly to educators and families
• Registration with NC Tracks and NPI required before starting
• Willingness to complete DCDEE fingerprinting and background checks

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver OT services for students with diverse needs, ages, and grade levels
• Assess, plan, and implement therapy aligned with individual educational programs and state standards
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute actively to IEP development
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administrators
