Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Occupational Therapist with a passion for school-based practice! Contract position available for the upcoming school year, working full-time across sites in Western Wake County. Essential Qualifications:

• Active OT license from the North Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy (NCBOT)
• Post-graduate OT degree; Master’s preferred
• Robust school-based OT experience required; North Carolina schools background highly valued
• Demonstrated expertise in ECATS and writing/implementing IEPs
• NPI number and NC Tracks registration (can be completed before start date)
• Willingness to complete DCDEE fingerprinting and background check
• Proficient with Sensory Processing Measure–2 (SPM-2) and Sensory Profile 2
• Skilled in using a variety of standardized assessments for students across elementary, middle, and high school
• Thorough understanding of interpreting assessment results within an educational context

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services including motor screenings and comprehensive evaluations tailored to student needs
• Provide direct intervention and consultative support to students, teachers, and families
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Accurately document services, progress, and outcomes
• Travel among designated school sites, supporting a diverse caseload as assigned under a dynamic, workload-based model
